EVERYBODY NEEDS GOOD NEIGHBOURS

It was another busy morning at eMop HQ when an email popped our inbox around 10am. It was a client, confused why the cleaner that he’d booked to tidy his flat an hour earlier hadn’t arrived yet. This was unusual: eMoppers take pride in their punctuality. We called cleaner Isabel (note: not her real name) on her mobile to find out what was going on…

— Hi, Isabel! Where are you now?

— I’m at work, cleaning.

— Where are you cleaning?

— What do you mean? I’m at the client’s flat!

— Who’s the client? Can you send us the address?

Isabel sent us a screen-grab from her eMop app with the order details. Sure, the street name was the same. But the house number was different – the client had entered the wrong address when booking!
At 9am, Isabel had turned up at the address provided by the client. A friendly woman who didn’t speak any English let her in, showing Isabel exactly what furniture she should clean. When eMop called Isabel, she was midway through this job. As for the mystery lady, she’d just had her house half-cleaned by eMop – for free!
